German manual of Good and Bad Days by Johann Friedrich Starch, copyrighted 1907. This is a classic German Lutheran devotional book containing prayers, meditations, hymns, and encouragement for daily spiritual support. It includes sections for the healthy, troubled, sick, dying, pregnant women, and new mothers. The entire book is written in German. This book even has the original family’s register on one of the front pages. The register dates back to February 17, 1909. The gold gilt on this book is stunning and even the inside of the jacket has a pretty pattern to it. The book measures approximately 8” x 6” and is 1 1/4 inches deep. This would be such an amazing addition for the collector of antique books.
